I work with most insurance plans (Aetna, AmeriHealth, Cigna, HBCBS, United Health, etc.) as an Out-of-Network provider. As a courtesy to my clients, I handle the processing of all insurance claims, which drastically reduces the guesswork and relative stress often associated with submitting insurance claims on your own. Because I submit all claims to the insurance company, you will only be required to pay a percentage of the fee, which is determined by your insurance plan.
At the beginning of each session, you are responsible for paying your out-of-pocket-fee, unless we negotiate an alternative payment arrangement. Cash, check (made out to Be You Counseling, LLC), debit card, or any major credit card are acceptable forms of payment.
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis for a select number of clients. Eligibility is based on financial need. If you feel you are eligible for a reduced fee, please be sure to ask during the initial consultation.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify me within 48 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Since I recognize that unexpected circumstances sometimes arise, I will forgive two no-show/late cancellations, but after that, if you fail to provide sufficient notice of cancellation, going forward you will be charged the full fee for any missed sessions. Most insurance companies will not reimburse for missed sessions.
